DESIGNED FOR THE WORK AHEAD

One model. Three ways to move faster.

From the first prototype to production maintenance, Ox Alpha is built around useful output — not just impressive demos.

01 / CODING

Ship clearer code.

Generate, refactor, debug, test, and explain code without losing the surrounding context.

02 / AGENTIC WORK

Plan the next action.

Break down long tasks, coordinate tools, summarize state, and keep a workflow moving.

03 / PRODUCTION

Build for reality.

Analyze documents, design rollouts, assess risk, and turn messy inputs into decisions.

OPENAI-COMPATIBLE API

QUESTIONS, ANSWERED

Before you send.

Everything you need to know about trying Ox Alpha and connecting it to your own workflow.

What is Ox Alpha?

Ox Alpha is a frontier reasoning model designed for coding, agentic workflows, and production use. It is available through OpenRouter using the model ID stealth/ox-alpha.

Is Ox Alpha free?

Ox Alpha is currently listed as free on OpenRouter. Availability, limits, and routing can change, so check the live OpenRouter listing before relying on it in production. OpenRouter account rules still apply.

How do I try Ox Alpha online?

Enter your own OpenRouter API key and a prompt in the playground above. No account is required on oxalpha.io. Your key is held in page memory only and is never saved by this page.

Why do I need my own API key?

This is a static client-side demo and does not expose a shared platform key. Using your own key keeps access under your control and lets OpenRouter apply its own account, rate, and billing rules.

How large is the context window?

Ox Alpha supports a 1M token context window and up to 128K output, subject to the current provider and routing limits shown by OpenRouter.

Does it support multimodal input?

Ox Alpha is described as supporting text, image, and video input. The browser playground currently demonstrates text plus an optional HTTPS image URL; video upload is not enabled in this page.
